A 500-man bitmap based wargame simulation based on a 320x200 battlefield. Supports One and Two-Player games. Includes an AI opponent featuring 2 Levels of difficulty.

This is an unreleased DOS abandonware game from 1996.

You are the king.  Try to get the other king killed by issuing orders to your AI warriors.

Each day you give orders to your soldiers first thing in the morning. There are many types of units, including artillery, and you can deploy them with multiple mission types, waypoints, and aiming ranges.  Options allow for fine tuning the experience, including setting some AI parameters and day length. 16-bit gore can be disabled.

Castle walls have varying degrees of hardness and floors have height taken into account for damage and range.

Each player's CTRL Key (left/right side of keyboard) controls the opening of the castle gates during the battle. This is the only command each player has once the battle has begun for the day.  At the day's end, valor (used to buy units) is awarded based on the value of enemy units destroyed.

DOSBox is required to run this game on  modern PC. You can adjust the speed with ctrl-F11 ctrl-F12...
